Heva Online, a casual MMORPG developed by WindySoft, a Korean game manufacturer for two years, now is in its closed beta test in Korea. In the following, we will make an introduction to features of its closed beta test of Heva Online aiming to provide reference for interested gamers.

There are now 2 servers available for playing. Its official team has decided to launch more servers to meet the requirement of increasing number of gamers. In the game, there are 4 options of hairstyle, wearing and shape for both a male character and a female character to choose from.

When entering the game, players will be offered a level 60 character which is only usable for receiving the beginner training and learning the basic controls of the game as well as the game interface. Arrow keys, ↑ ↓ ← → are the main keys to manipulate the character. Pressing C key enables the character to jump up. To jump forward, press C+↑. Press C again after pressing C+↑, the character will jump twice in series.

Pressing Space+X chops a target continually, while pressing X initiates a common attack.

Pressing 1 enables you to select a skill to use. Follow the instructions and hold down ↑↑ or ↓↓, then you can attack your target heavily and continually. After that, just follow the direction arrows and the beginner training will be finished soon.

At the beginning, each character only has two basic skills, 1 attack skill and 1 auxiliary skill. When reaching level 4 or 5, the character can spend some skill points to learn new skills.

A spectacled NPC who is in charge of selling potions will give away potions to beginners. Even though beginners can get some potions to restore health and mana from the NPC, we still suggest you preparing more before you go to fight monsters because such potions will be consumed fast in a group combat. The second page of the Skill panel shows the skill books you can use to learn new skills in the future. When defeating a computer controlled enemy in the wild area, you have the chance to get a skill book.

A NPC girl in the starting village of the game world is specially in selling weapons. You can use a one-handed sword + shield combination or an axe + shield combination. There are a variety of weapons, such as two-handed heavy sword, two-handed hammer, bow and arrow, spear, one-handed sword, axe, etc.

A NPC who is equipped with armor, is selling armor sets. At the beginning, only two armor sets are available to you in the store, a level 2 armor set and a level 4-5 armor set. But the armor set sold in the store doesn't possess the slot that is required for equipment improvement, which means, all armor sets sold in the store are the original ones.

This NPC bat can teleport players between villages. When you talk with the bat, it will give you some options of places for you to choose which village you want to be teleported to.

The option marked by a white arrow means a place you can go to. The amount of money under an option tells the service charge the bat will collect for teleporting to that place.

Pet System

The NPC tree sprite in the starting village is able to unseal pets in the bottle. When defeating a monster, you have the chance to obtain a bottle that seals a pet and a scroll to unseal a pet. When you use the bottle and scroll, you may unseal the pet successfully or unsuccessfully. The tree sprite is also selling adornments which can enhance pets.

Just keep a close eye on the progress bar. When it comes to the end, it will show you whether you are successful or not. You will get excited when you unseal the pet successfully. If you like any monster, just go to fight the monster endlessly, then you might have the chance to get a bottle that seals the monster sooner or later. You can also compose two pets of the same type to give birth to a pet of a different type. The scrolls to unseal pets have level ranges, LV 1~20, LV 21~40, LV 40~50, LV 51~60. The scrolls can only unseal the pets that are sealed in a bottle within a certain level range.

It can only sleep and add bonus to the master's auxiliary skills. The right bottom row of the pet info panel shows the commands to control the pet. When a pet is unsealed, its info will be shown, including its attack skills and the bonus skills that it can add to the monster. When put your mouse over the pet, it will tell whether the pet is offensive or assistant as well as an index of the pet's ability. All the pets got in the starting zones are at level E. Slime cannot take the initiative to attack the monsters. If you want to order your Slime to attack, you must press F1 key.

You can change pet frequently and tame any monster if you like. Anyway, there are many types of pets in the game.

Transport Cannon

What is the use of the cannon in the starting village (Actually, the village is floating in the sky)? In fact, to get out of the village, you must use the cannon. Just stand in front of the cannon, then it will shoot at you and transport you far away.

You will land safely certainly after shot by the cannon. See, you are flying in the sky.
In the game world, there are various landforms. They are flying in the sky, so players have to use the cannon to help them transport to different places. As a result, boom can often be heard in the game.

Weapon Improvement

Not all weapons can be improved. To improve a weapon, you must have special stones and the weapon that you want to improve must have a slot. Picture 1/1 shows the said “slot” in the weapon that can be improved.

Classes

At the begging, all characters are of the same class. When hitting a certain level, player can evolve their class and become a warrior, mage or archer.

Eudemon System

While fighting monster, players can gather vigor and then summon their class eudemon to fight for them when gathering a certain amount of vigor.

Instances

To explore all the instanced zones in the game during the closed beta test is not an easy job.
