Almost all games are filled with violence and attractions, including the online games. To take action against violence, more and more countries start to impose control over games. And as violence is forbidden, game companies are switching over to pornography, which can be seen from this year's ChinaJoy where appealing beauties other than games were shown actually.
A heated incident has recently provoked much discussion on the left coast of the Pacific Ocean: a boy claimed on his blog that he was raped by a girl just because of playing an online game. He said that after seeing so many girls enjoy the game Hot Dance Party in the net cafe, he also decided to try out this game and finally found that he was a good gamer actually. After that, he came upon a girl who was undergoing her junior year in the college nearby. When being asked for skills of playing games, he jokingly required the girl to give him something other than material goods or money as payment. Then, the "generous" girl invited him to a hotel for the night. This guy claimed that he was still a virgin and was abused by that girl. Who knows… The girl also specified on her blog furiously that she was just for fun and a true man wouldn't be that serious, while uploading her own photos. Surely, we cannot distinguish between right and wrong in this issue, which has resulted in a hot topic among all the network users: Are one-night stands arising from online games right or wrong?
Games are not pure any more when combined with other goals like money and sex. And it will be so sad when players no longer enjoy games simply for fun, conquest, challenge or socialization. Well, how many cloned games shall we have to go through before enjoying a game really interesting?
